Vinyasa Yoga

Vinyasa means “breath-synchronized movement”. Vinyasa yoga is
a series of poses that move you through the power of inhaling & exhaling. Vinyasa yoga is referred to as Vinyasa Flow or Flow because the movements are smooth flowing and almost
dance-like.

Vinyasa yoga has both mental and physical benefits:
Physical – sweat expels toxins and re-energizes the body.
Mentally – the synchronized breathing relaxes and calms the mind to helprelease any blockageof energy flow throughout the body.

The benefits I am experiencing though Vinyasa yoga are:

My body feels purified with the deep breathing (it makes me feel clean,and energized)

I feel stronger
-
I feel centered (my mind is calmer and I feel more at peace)
-
I am accepting myself where I am (some days I feel balanced and flexible, other times I feel tight – I’m letting go of the frustration and acceptingwhat my body can do today - this is a great lesson that I am able to applyto many areas of my life)

I have more energy, both in my body and my mind (clear energy)



Yin Yoga

Yin Yoga practice helps us improve our health on many levels.

With its emphasis on long-held, passive stresses of the deeper connective tissues, Yin Yoga mobilizes and strengthens
our joints, ligaments and deep fascia networks.

Yin Yoga applies pressure along our meridian
lines to stimulate the flow of energy in our body.
Yin Yoga is a practice much needed in
today's difficult, hectic times.

It offers us a way to leave behind our ideas of how we should
be, and return to our true selves, where all lasting healing takes place.

Gentle Level 1 Flow

Gentle Level 1 Flow Yoga brings together meditation, breath work and movement to music. My classes will focus on aligning the energy systems within the body. This gentle practice will allow you to feel grounded and will bring vitality to your body,mind and soul.

This Gentle Level 1 Flow will stretch your personal limits and help you grow healthierin all areas of your life. My practice, although gentle to level 1 flow, focus on core strength and a heart centered workout. My practices will help you focus on love,hope, peace and being kind to yourself and to others. Accepting exactly where we
are each at on our own personal journey.

My training is through Holy Yoga, I have my 225 Hour R-HYI Accreditation and I am currently working towards my 500 Hour Masters. Holy Yoga is a Bhakti Yoga with Hatha Asanas. Which means we have a spiritual component to the practice, the Sanskrit word bhakti comes from the root bhaj, which translates to adore or worship God. Bhakti yoga has been called “love for love’s sake” and “union through love anddevotion”. Holy Yoga is a Christ based practice yoking ourselves to the Holy Trinity
(Father, Son and Holy Spirit). Hatha yoga can be translated as ‘sun’ (ha) and ‘moon’(tha) the yoga of balance. Hatha Asanas are the poses and vinyasa (or flowsequences) utilized during the physical practice.

Yoga – specifically Holy Yoga, has brought about amazing transformation within my life’s journey. I have also had the pleasure of seeing the improvements within the lives of my students. My hope, is to help you find similar transformations in your life.To find the peace, health and wellness you deserve.
